These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all users of the Accelerait platform, including startups and investors engaging with Automait T/A Accelerait (“we”, “our”, “us”). By submitting an application, pitch, expression of interest, or investment profile, you agree to the following:
Accelerait is a business matchmaking and brand-building platform designed to connect vetted startups with suitable investors and provide strategic support, including business consulting, marketing, automation, and incubation services. We facilitate introductions and may support execution through agency services, strategy, or funding partnerships.
Submission of a startup or investment profile does not guarantee selection, funding, or partnership. We reserve the right to review, approve, or reject any application at our sole discretion and without obligation to provide feedback or justification.
We respect your privacy and business confidentiality. By submitting your information, you agree to allow Automait T/A Accelerait to share submitted materials (including pitch decks, overviews, and relevant business details) with select, vetted investors for evaluation purposes.
We do not publicly disclose or publish confidential business materials. If a custom Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is required, it must be requested and signed prior to submission.
Startups selected for support, incubation, or partnership will receive tailored proposals. Terms may include equity, fee-based services, or hybrid models depending on project needs and resource allocation. All terms are negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
For investor-startup matches resulting in a successful deal, Automait T/A Accelerait charges a 5% success fee based on the agreed funding or deal value. Terms of payment and invoicing will be outlined in a separate agreement following deal confirmation.
All intellectual property submitted remains the property of the submitting party. However, you grant Automait T/A Accelerait the right to view, evaluate, and share submitted materials with relevant third parties for the sole purpose of facilitating potential partnerships or investments.
Automait T/A Accelerait acts as a facilitator and is not liable for the actions, decisions, or outcomes of any parties introduced through the platform. We accept no responsibility for disputes, investment outcomes, business decisions, or agreements made between startups and investors.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Automait T/A Accelerait, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims arising from participation in the Accelerait program.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
By submitting your information through our forms or by engaging with the Accelerait platform in any capacity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
